GENESIS 37: 3-4, 12-13a, 17b-28a
MEDITATION:
Joseph was eventually sold to the Ishmaelites which was a "type of Death", especially to Jacob/Israel...Much later on, Jacob's family required sustenance due to a great drought, after which they found out that Joseph had a "type of Resurrection" from "the Dead"...He did not allow his brothers to "See him" [like Jesus with Mary Magdalene and others] right away when they came to Egypt but in private related himself to him of who he actually was...they saw someone who had come back from Death!--the Death of Slavery and the Death of family abandonment--Joseph reconciled with his brothers while bringing joy to his father Jacob when his brothers returned to Israel to bring Jacob to Joseph...Jacob thought he had truly lost his second youngest son but found him again like the Father of the Prodigal Son..."He was lost but has been found!"
...like Jesus, Joseph allowed reconciliation despite Suffering and Abandonment!
ALWAYS "GO TO JOSEPH!!!"
